I inspired my collection on magnetic therapy. More specifically, the technique that places magnets on acupuncture points in order to cure and improve human health. My collection represents my exploration for connections between alternative medicine and contemporary fashion.
A pulling Force

I inspired my collection on magnetic therapy. More specifically, the technique that places magnets on acupuncture points in order to cure and improve human health. My collection represents my exploration for connections between alternative medicine and contemporary fashion.
The design vocabulary of the garments is derived from the forces of magnetism ‘attraction’ and ‘repulsion’. It expresses my perception of office attire and my vision on how to improve and restore health in stressful corporate environments.
My reinterpretation of the office suit has magnets incorporated into the fabrics and accessories in a subtle manner. In order to achieve the ideal masculine silhouette, I deconstructed the suit with use of magnetic forces and sharp cuts.
