Jenny Kloszynski
This womenswear collection is based on the feeling of being imprisoned, constricted, being trapped in a situation that cannot be changed. It’s about social and psychological boundaries one has to abide by, and what it does to you.
"constricted"

This womenswear collection is based on the feeling of being imprisoned, constricted, being trapped in a situation that cannot be changed. It’s about social and psychological boundaries one has to abide by, and what it does to you.
The woman I envision wearing my garments is strong and independent, also in when feeling entrapped. Though she sometimes feels too weak to keep up with circumstances, she never breaks down. I aimed to portray this opposing sensitivity and toughness in a glorious way.
With subtle references to a cage symbol in seaming, fabrics and shapes, my collection expresses a sophisticated, stern character. I used a limited colour palette of whites, blues and gold with touches of nude. High collars and fragile bodices combined with brass dominate my collection.
