Bastian Visch’s collection

Bastian Visch was inspired by differences in cultures and subcultures. His collection reflects a scientific approach to design that is unifying for humanity. Typical Western pieces like a bomber jacket, traditional suit and sneakers are mixed with Eastern cultures inspired clothing like long shirts, trousers combined with pants and hats that remind us of head scarves.

Bastian uses a unique technique for dying his fabrics: special prints and colours come to live when exposed to direct sunlight. Seen from a distance the used fabrics look thick and padded – but that’s just an illusion. If you take a close look, his sweaters are thin and light. This effect is created by photography and sun light!
