In my short film, ‘Deadstock Island’ You get taken on a journey through the world of the living garments. These garments have been brought to live by puppeteers and tell you their story, stranded in a world filled with clothes. This project rooted from my frustrations with the way in which clothes nowadays are often treated as disposable. As well as my fascination with the stories and emotions that I feel garments carry with them. As a result of this I began asking myself how I could show these stories and emotions to other people, and by doing so inspire them to take better care of what they already have.
