Isabela thought about how much of a difference you can make as a single person. Is it even possible to make a difference and if so, how much of an impact can you make compared to the big polluters? With these thoughts in her mind, she designed her own climate protest. The protest consists of various hand-woven jackets. Every single jacket shows a consequence of the climate crisis like the melting ice caps, the bush fires and the parched lands. The jackets are moved by the machines Isabela made of Meccano. Together they perform a protest march in sync. To enhance the message the installation is accompanied by music with slogans like “Time is running out”, in collaboration with a sound designer named Stach Platenkamp.
