The End

Rachel Klok has a fascination for Hollywood actors and actresses. Mainly because of the roles they try on and how their fame makes them into a product of the public. In the sense that their image is being shaped without them having full control over it. She translates these ideas into garments. Her ambition is to play with the public image of an archetypical garment; to let them play a different role than expected from them. To break the stigma. She does this through material and shape swaps: applying old couture techniques, such as draping, on contemporary shapes and materials and visa versa.
