ABOUT THE COLLECTION

The relativity of an abstract notion. The way we experience our perceptions can be dependant of references we have during that moment. While factors like time and temperature are scientifically fixed, the way we experience these factors, can still be subjective. Cold can be colder after experiencing warmth, just as time can suddenly feel faster in a same contrast.

These conclusions have led to my collection in which two-dimensional flat forms suddenly turn three-dimensional just by wearing them. The collection is made by letting inside and outside be exchangeable without sewing, but instead looking for other solutions like pasting and allowing incisions in the fabric to twirl around the body. The handwoven fabrics are synthetic, this is what makes them both personal, and impersonal at the same time.
