ABOUT THE COLLECTION

My collection tells the story of my sister. My sister chose to leave our parents and me to create a life for herself.  Although this situation feels bitter, memories of our life together, sometimes, do taste sweet.  To deal with this grief, I decided to create a story about her and her travels from city to city. With every new destination, the wall protecting her heart gets higher and bigger, until she reaches a point where no soul can touch her. In due time, the sorrows of loneliness will rest on my sister’s shoulders. Patterns of running horses are lasered on jeans. The shoes have a wood-like print. Wools and silks are hand dyed. Steel hooks and wigs are used as accessories.

This October, I will start my MA in womenswear at Central St. Martins, which I am looking forward to. It’s such a big adventure.
