Anil was born in Turkey and grew up in different places. After Berlin and Istanbul, she has been living in Amsterdam for the last four years; but she still considers herself Mediterranean more than anything else. For over a decade, she’s been managing communication strategies of global brands such as Hugo Boss and Ermenegildo Zegna. She’s been contributing writer at various prominent fashion & lifestyle magazines and interviewing with global talents, social entrepreneurs, designers. Anil is one of the co-founders of Amsterdam’s first ever Fashion Film Festival aiming to promote and celebrate artistic collaboration across the fashion & film industries. The annual event consists of a series of screenings and discussions that will explore themes and issues that are prevalent within the industry and showcase the work of directorial talent from across Europe, with a strong local touch.
