ABOUT THE COLLECTION

My work represents a continuous dialogue between aesthetics and meaning. Cultures known for rare ethnical images are important sources of inspiration, besides an everlasting fascination for all technological. What type of imagery will future cultures have?
This collection is about the aesthetics of architecture and the concept of superstructures,

big cities with millions of people living their lives. I used images of the Ainu people; a Japanese tribe with interesting power symbols that in my vision relate to the greatness of architecture.
“The abuse of power comes as no surprise” shows a transition from ancient cultures into a more futuristic type of beauty.
